Costco recalls cold and flu medicine over contamination concerns
Costco has recalled its Kirkland Signature brand Severe Cold & Flu Plus Congestion capsules due to potential contamination.

The pills were marketed as a “Cool Breeze” variant and contained both daytime and nighttime capsules.
The packages bear item number 1729556 and would have been purchased between Oct. 30, 2024 and Nov. 30, 2024, according to the . The lot code printed on the back of the affected boxes is P140082.
The Costco recall advises consumers not to use any medication printed with the above identifiers and to return the item to Costco for a full refund.
Pharmaceutical manufacturer LNK International, Inc., made the recall “out of an abundance of caution” when it was discovered that a lot of contaminated medication was “accidentally” released and shipped after it was rejected for potential foreign material contamination.
