Baby seal rescued after being found wandering Connecticut street
Police in Connecticut on Sunday rescued a baby seal that wandered far from the beach and onto the streets of one of its cities. Authorities in New Haven said the animal appeared to have an injured flipper. The animal was taken to a Connecticut aquarium for rehabilitation. Experts at Mystic Aquarium estimate the baby male gray seal is just a few weeks old and they say it’s underweight. Once it recovers, they plan to release it back into the ocean.
