Fans react to Chip and Joanna's news

In a move for which no one was emotionally prepared, Chip and Joanna Gaines announced Friday night that they will be starting their own TV network. The pair stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to chat about Joanna's new design book, "Homebody," but shared the big news as well. "I just wanted to make a quick announcement," Chip said. "We are coming back to television. You are going to get to see the kids grow up."Ever since their hit HGTV show, "Fixer Upper," bowed seven months ago, fans have been itching for the couple's return to their TV screens. "You are going to see us," Chip said. "Well, maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back!"As the news broke, "Fixer Upper" fans across the country headed to Twitter to share their excitement. Chip also reacted to the news, tweeting "What a whirlwind! nyc, jo's book tour, Jimmy Fallon, soo much food!"Though we don't know when the network will debut or what programming it will offer, Magnolia rep John Marsicano was able to shed some light: "The details surrounding this opportunity remain a work in progress, but together, our hope is to build a different kind of platform for unique and family-friendly content," he said. For now, all we can hope for is the return of Shorty, Demo Day, and lots and lots of shiplap!
