Iowans pointed their cameras and phones to the sky Friday morning as gravity wave clouds moved through the state. Chief Meteorologist Jason Sydejko explained the cool weather phenomenon."It looks like the storms to the north caused a gravity wave that has led to some roll clouds moving overhead. Think of a gravity wave like the waves that happen when you drop a rock in a lake.
