Cat survives being stuck for weeks inside sofa during move
Sunnylo doesn't just have 9 lives. She's *** walking miracle. Because against every odd, she is home with her family. Sunny Lou's ordeal began late last year when she went missing during her family's move. What was that discussion with your family like when you realized you were going to have to leave without her? Um, like really hard on my heart and made me really sad. Family and friends back in Walla Walla did keep the search going, but after nearly *** month, it wasn't looking good. I didn't know how I was going to tell my girls that, you know. We're searching. But just as the Hansens were giving up hope, hope meowed. While the family grieved their lost kitty, *** storage unit with their furniture was crisscrossing the west coast with *** stowaway inside. 3 weeks and 1150 miles of road. The Hansen's got to Colorado Springs on December 31. Their furniture didn't arrive until late January. Uh, they brought in our hi to bed sofa and started to unwrap it. Hannah and Madeleine heard *** noise. I heard him meow. I ran to the garage where Andy was come in you gotta check the couch and so I think it might be our kitty. What? This is crazy. This has been 3 weeks. I rushed in there, pulled out the hide of bed, you know, and I could see that there was *** small little hole in the armrest where, you know, the sound was kind of coming from. Oh my God. The hide *** bed was hiding *** kitty. Sonny Loo had gotten stuck in that hole and had been trapped in the couch without food or water for 3 weeks. She was weak and emaciated, but alive. Medically, I don't. I don't know. I don't have an answer as far as how this cat survived that ordeal. It's, it's really remarkable. I think we don't always get an explanation with with cases like this, but um, I agree with the family. I think she is *** miracle cat. The Hansens think love has something to do with it. We feel that she fought, you know, to stay alive for us. We're so glad to have her back in her life and she's just. Living her best ninth life.
