Family members that evacuated because of a California wildfire returned home to find that their pet fish was taken care of."After a father informed his daughter that her fish was likely dead, both were in for quite a shock when they returned home to a well-fed fish!" Cal Fire said in a tweet Saturday. The fish, named Grant, was fed by Cal Fire and the Corning Police Department. "Fed your fish a few sprinkles. Sorry if we weren't supposed to," read a note from Cal Fire scrawled on a piece of paper. Below the Cal Fire note, Corning police included the date and time Grant was fed.
