He's the Ryder Cup Captain from Iowa who went to Drake, won two majors and has golfed the JDC over 20 times. But even Johnson was the first to say that Wednesday's Pro-Am was all about number 22.Droves of Hawkeye fans packed the galleries and followed Caitlin Clark's every move. The National Player of the Year from West Des Moines partnered with the famous golfer Wednesday at TPC Deere Run. She showed off her impressive swing, helping her pro partners to a 5-under in the best ball format. She also made as much time as possible for all the endless amounts of fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures."Just enjoying the experience," she said. "It is something I really enjoy, getting to do this. It's just cool getting to be around the kids and interact with them. Just try and make as much time for them."It was Clark's first time meeting Johnson, another accomplished star athlete from her home state."This is close to where I'm from. It was an easy yes and getting to play along Zach. This one is more special to me than any other pro-am I could play in," Clark said.
