Brackets busted: No perfect March Madness brackets remain after Sunday's games
ALERTS AND CUSTOMIZE THEM FOR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. RIGHT NOW, MARCH MADNESS IS TAKING OVER MILWAUKEE FISERV FORUM WILL HOST EIGHT TEAMS THIS WEEKEND, WITH GAMES TODAY AND SUNDAY. 12 NEWS ZOE HENRY JOINS US LIVE NOW FROM DEER DISTRICT. AND ZOE. THE FIRST GAME TIPS OFF IN A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR. ANYBODY HEADING DOWNTOWN NEEDS TO KNOW THAT PARKING PRICES AROUND FISERV ARE UP. YEAH, GERRON THOUSANDS OF FANS ARE ENTERING FIVE STAR FORUM AS WE SPEAK. THERE WAS A LOT OF PURPLE AND GOLD AND RED AND GOLD JUST MOMENTS AGO STANDING ON THE PLAZA NEAR DEER DISTRICT OR NEAR FISERV FORUM, AND ALL OF THEM READY FOR THE LIPSCOMB IOWA STATE GAME THAT IS HAPPENING AT 1230 THAT YOU JUST MENTIONED. BUT AS MANY FANS ARRIVE, THEY ARE FACED WITH STICKER SHOCK AT THE PARKING LOTS. LET’S GO CATS. GO, CATS! YEAH. SO WE’RE STANDING JUST A BLOCK AWAY FROM FISERV FORUM. AND YOU SAW THAT PRICE RIGHT BEFORE WE SAW THAT KENTUCKY FAN. A LOT OF THE PARKING LOTS AROUND HERE, ORIGINALLY $4 ON A REGULAR DAY, BUT SPECIAL EVENT PRICING IS IN EFFECT. AND TODAY, THIS PARKING LOT RIGHT HERE IS $60. THAT’S THE HIGHEST WE’VE SEEN ALL MORNING. MANY FANS MADE ALTERNATIVE CHOICES INSTEAD OF PARKING, CLOSE SOME PARK A FEW BLOCKS AWAY NEAR THE MPD HEADQUARTERS AND WALKED HERE ABOUT A TEN MINUTE WALK. AND OTHERS SAY PARKING AT THEIR HOTELS WAS A BETTER DEAL. HOW MUCH WAS IT? 55 FOR HALF THE DAY. SO FIRST SESSION. SO THAT ENDS AT 6:00. IT WAS 80 FOR THE WHOLE DAY. AND WHEN YOU SAW THOSE PRICES, WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION? IT WAS A LITTLE BIT HIGH. BUT IT’S FOR MOST OF THE DAY, NOT JUST ONE EVENT. WE’RE WATCHING TWO GAMES. YOU DECIDED TO WALK HERE TODAY? YEAH, I THINK IT WAS ABOUT A TEN MINUTE WALK OVER HERE. SO I SEE PARKING IS LIKE 60 BUCKS RIGHT HERE. SO IT’S A LITTLE CHEAPER TO PARK AT THE HOTEL. SO STILL, IF MAKING A BRISK, BREEZY WALK TODAY ISN’T YOUR DEAL. WE ALSO SPOKE TO SOME FANS WHO UBERED FROM LOTS AROUND THE AREA, OR TO COACH BUSSES HERE. INSTEAD OF PARKING CLOSE TO FISERV FORUM, BUT THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF METERED PARKING AROUND FIVE STAR THIS MORNING. ALL RIGHT. AND THAT MADNESS GETS UNDERWAY AT FISERV FORUM AND JUST A LITTLE MORE
