Actress Billie Lourd has spoken out for the first time since the tragic deaths of her mother, Carrie Fisher, and her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds. Lourd posted a touching Instagram photo of her as a child alongside her famous family. “Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,” Lourd wrote. Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in "Star Wars," died on Dec. 27, four days after going into cardiac arrest while on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds tragically died of a stroke just one day later. Reynolds was one of the few remaining stars of Hollywood’s “Golden Age.” She rose to stardom in the classic 1952 musical “Singin’ in the Rain.” Todd Fisher says his sister and mother will be buried after a joint funeral. The funeral will be private. Fisher says a public memorial for the two iconic actress will be set at a later date. “There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me,” said Lourd. Lourd carries on her family’s acting tradition in Hollywood.
