The good news? It's a pretty straightforward route. Interstate 35 gets you from the Des Moines metro to Kansas City, and US Highway 69/US Highway 75 covers the route from northern Oklahoma to Dallas. But you'll have options in between those two.Here are a couple of easy options:Option A: Take Interstate 35 south to Kansas City. Head south on Interstate 435, which merges onto Interstate 49. About 120 miles later, you'll be able to head west on Interstate 44 toward Tulsa, which meets up with U.S. Highway 69. Highway 69 later merges with Highway 75, which gets you to Dallas.Option B: Take Interstate 35 south through Kansas City. Stay on I-35 south until U.S. Highway 169 in Olathe. Follow Highway 169 to Tulsa. Continue to U.S. Highway 75, and follow that south to Dallas.
