The 10 year old contest drew dogs of all kinds, young dogs and old dogs, and some with wagging behinds. Some were quite plain from *** fashion perspective. Others, it seems, were far more inventive. There were sweaters on some pets and skirts on some others, and one guy dressed formally like his father and mother. Bulldogs go, these beasts are all beauties, but the pops were crowd favorites. Aw, look at those cuties. The sun caused some trouble for entrants this year. They panted and panted, truly frightening to hear. But the judges, we must note, had it toughest of all, most beautiful for this crew is at best hard to call. Oh, they're beautiful, man. They're beautifully ugly. These dogs are wonderful. It was *** warm fuzzy sight seeing bulldogs on parade, though the dogs would prefer to be left in the shade. Some were bored with the process, some confused by the right, but the The annual contest is *** favorite sight. In the end, it came down to who looked the most fierce, and the winner fit the bill to *** tee. It appears. Sir Mugsy takes the place of Sir Sluggo on the throne, and before it's all over, his name will be known by Drake students and Des Moinesians, all bulldog lovers, but he's not much for fame, as reporters discovered. Come on. Speak. You want *** cookie? So ends another year of this ridiculous contest to decide who among bulldogs is cutest and best. Beautiful might not be the word you would choose. Drake University held the first Beautiful Bulldog contest in 1979. The contest is a fan-favorite during the Drake Relays.
