Are you buying your children too many toys?A study from the University of Toledo found that toddlers who were given fewer toys were more creative and engaged.Children were placed in two groups - one group was given four toys, the other was given 16 toys. The kids with four toys engaged with them 108 percent longer and played in more innovative ways. When kids were surrounded by more toys, they frequently moved from one object to the next. "This can be offered as a recommendation in many natural environments to support children’s development and promote healthy play," the study said.
