Amazon could soon deliver your favorite fast food straight to your door

The game will forever be changed.

Somewhere in the near future, you might be getting Chipotle burrito bowls delivered right to your front door, courtesy of Amazon. That's because the company just partnered with Olo, a New York-based food delivery service that allows customers to order from 200 different restaurant brands with more than 40,000 locations in the US.Even though restaurant delivery isn't new for Amazon — the company introduced a delivery service in Seattle in 2015 — it's still exciting considering Amazon Restaurants mostly took orders from local eateries. But the new partnership could bring fast food favorites like Chipotle, Five Guys, and Shake Shack to your door, giving it a big one-up to companies like Grubhub. There's also the fact that, since Olo focuses more on online ordering, the company just launched a new product called Rails that's apparently supposed to make delivery easier for Amazon. There's no word yet on when the delivery service might start, as not all of the restaurants connected to Olo have confirmed being part of the deal, but once it's official there'll probably be nothing anyone can do to convince you to stand in a long line at your favorite restaurant again.
