Abby Lee Miller is celebrating her release from a halfway house from a hospital bed, according to recent Instagram posts from the former "Dance Moms" star. The choreographer recently completed a year-long sentence for felony bankruptcy fraud, but previously left Residential Reentry Center in Long Beach, California, for an emergency spinal surgery in April. The 10-hour long procedure revealed that Miller had non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes. "TIMES UP!!!! So is my sentence!!!" Miller wrote on Instagram this weekend. "Now I have to handle the aftermath/ treatment/ physical rehabilitation of 10 hour emergency spine surgery to remove a mass from strangling my spinal cord and the horrible severity of what that mass turned out to be!"She had previously entered the emergency room complaining of "excruciating neck pain," leading doctors to believe she suffered from a spinal infection. Further tests revealed that Miller in fact suffered from a rare but highly aggressive form of blood cancer. Several supporters have since stopped by to visit and celebrate her release. Miller posted two more pictures from her hospital bed this weekend, one with pupil JoJo Siwa and another with "dear friend" Michelle Rogers, owner of the Miller Street Dance Academy. "It’s important not to get busy with everyday life and lose touch with those who are truly your friends through all the rough times," Miller wrote on Instagram.Siwa also shared a picture from her visit, captioning her post with a sweet message. "Got to see my favorite today!" she said. "Abby you have changed my life for forever, I am so thankful for everything you have done for me."It remains unconfirmed whether Miller will ever return to "Dance Moms," which is currently led by former "Dancing With the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke. The 51-year-old still has two more scheduled chemotherapy treatments, People reported last week. “After the hospital, she’ll be going into a rehab facility, so everything is still up in the air,” a source told the publication. “Right now, they’re just focusing on her health.”
