Nine-year-old Anna Beeker is a better golfer than some players twice her age.The third-grader is a member of her school’s varsity team. She’s able to compete because Alabama’s Independent School Association has no age restrictions.“I watched her hit it, and I said, ‘You need to play,’” said Tuscaloosa Academy golf coach Scott Taylor. Anna’s been playing golf for more than half her life and can drive the ball 180 yards.“My brother and my dad would always go, me and my mom would stay at the house," Anna explained. "After a while, I was like, ‘Can I go with you? Please, please?’”Her coach first noticed her practicing on the green when she was in second grade.
