Seven years ago, West Des Moines real estate agent Ashley Okland was fatally shot in a model town home, though the murder has yet to be solved.West Des Moines police said the case is still active as detectives work to get new information related to the case."We just keep getting leads on it," said Lt. Anthony Giampolo, with the West Des Moines Police Department. "Maybe by reminding someone, maybe someone will say something that they know about that can help us with that case."Okland, 27, was shot to death in a villa near the Jordan Creek mall. Giampolo said she was shot once in the head and once in the chest."This case is extremely important not only to the family but to us," Giampolo said.
