The 2025 NFL draft first round is underway in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Titans selected Miami quarterback Cam Ward first overall, and the Jaguars moved up from No. 5 to select two-way player Travis Hunter with the second pick. He joins a defense with reigning Defensive Player of the Year Pat Surtain II.10:10 p.m.The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected wide receiver Emeka Egbuka of Ohio State University.Baker Mayfield just got another weapon.Egbuka joins a receiving room with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, and Sterling Shepard. Egbuka finished a four-year campaign at Ohio State with 2,868 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.10:05 p.m.The Seattle Seahawks selected offensive guard Grey Zabel of North Dakota State University.The first Football Championship Subdivision player is off the board, with the Seattle Seahawks taking Zabel.Zabel is the first FCS player to get taken in the first round since 2022, when New Orleans took Northern Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Penning at No. 19 and New England selected Chattanooga guard Cole Strange at No. 29.Last year, no FCS player got taken until the third round, when the Chicago Bears took Yale offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie. He finished the 2024 season with 56 receptions for 582 yards and five touchdowns.9:10 p.m.The New Orleans Saints selected offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. of the University of Texas.The Saints turned a blind eye to potential quarterback needs and opted for Banks, who is quite good at protecting QBs.The 6-foot-4 offensive lineman has the strength and ability to play left tackle in the league despite being viewed by some teams as a guard.Banks allowed four sacks throughout three seasons and 2,778 offensive snaps with the Longhorns.9:05 p.m.The Carolina Panthers selected wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan of the University of Arizona.One year after selecting Xavier Legette in the first round, the Carolina Panthers used the No. 8 pick in the 2025 draft on McMillan.The 6-foot-5 receiver caught 84 passes for a conference-leading 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024.McMillan often lines up outside and uses his size, body control, and high-point skills to win 50-50 balls. The Dallas Cowboys selected offensive guard Tyler Booker of the University of Alabama.

Booker is 6-foot-5 and 324 pounds and has excellent skills to absorb pass rushers and bore holes in the run game.

9:23 p.m.

The San Francisco 49ers selected defensive end Mykel Williams of the University of Georgia with the No. 11 pick in the draft.

Despite battling a leg injury, Williams caught scouts’ attention with a season consisting of 21 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles.

Williams joins a 49ers defense with former Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa and four-time First-Team All-Pro Fred Warner.

9:20 p.m.

It was announced on the draft broadcast that the NFL schedule will be released on May 14.

9:15 p.m.

The Chicago Bears selected tight end Colston Loveland of the University of Michigan.

Despite Penn State tight end Tyler Warren’s availability, the Chicago Bears chose Loveland with the No. 10 pick.

The speedy and agile tight end will go from Ann Arbor to Chicago in 2025 and join a young offense under new coach Ben Johnson.

With a knack for route-running, Loveland will provide a big target for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. He finished the 2024 season with 56 receptions for 582 yards and five touchdowns.

9:10 p.m.

The New Orleans Saints selected offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. of the University of Texas.

The Saints turned a blind eye to potential quarterback needs and opted for Banks, who is quite good at protecting QBs.

The 6-foot-4 offensive lineman has the strength and ability to play left tackle in the league despite being viewed by some teams as a guard.

Banks allowed four sacks throughout three seasons and 2,778 offensive snaps with the Longhorns.

9:05 p.m.

The Carolina Panthers selected wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan of the University of Arizona.

One year after selecting Xavier Legette in the first round, the Carolina Panthers used the No. 8 pick in the 2025 draft on McMillan.

The 6-foot-5 receiver caught 84 passes for a conference-leading 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024.

McMillan often lines up outside and uses his size, body control, and high-point skills to win 50-50 balls. He joins a young offense with third-year quarterback Bryce Young at the helm.

9 p.m.

The New York Jets selected offensive tackle Armand Membou of the University of Missouri.

Membou is the first draft pick of Jets general manager Darren Mougey’s tenure.

The Missouri offensive lineman held his opponents to zero sacks and quarterback hits throughout 12 games and 827 offensive snaps in 2024.

The addition of Membou comes one year after the Jets used their 2024 first-rounder on offensive tackle Olu Fashanu.

8:50 p.m.

The Las Vegas Raiders have selected running back Ashton Jeanty of Boise State University.

Jeanty was the runner-up for the 2024 Heisman Award.

8:45 p.m.

After trading out of the second pick, the Cleveland Browns used the fifth pick to select defensive tackle Mason Graham of the University of Michigan.

“I’m sure we’ll get along pretty well,” new Browns player Mason Graham said in an interview about his new fanbase, who largely root for his college rival, Ohio State.

8:40 p.m.

The New England Patriots selected offensive tackle Will Campbell of Louisiana State University.

Campbell played a major role in keeping LSU’s quarterbacks upright throughout his collegiate campaign, allowing four sacks throughout 2,553 offensive snaps and 38 games.

His arm length measured a respectable 33 inches at the Tigers’ pro day, allaying teams’ only concern.

8:30 p.m.

The New York Giants select edge rusher Abdul Carter of Penn State with the No. 3 pick.

The Giants add a game-wrecker in Carter, who was widely considered a top-three draft pick after a standout career at Penn State, where he frequently drew comparisons to alumni Micah Parsons.

The edge rusher finished the 2024 season with 68 tackles, a career-high 12 sacks, four pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.

8:25 p.m.

Jaguars use trade to pick Travis Hunter at No. 2.

Two-way standout and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter will join the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025.

Hunter shined as a wide receiver and cornerback under head coach Deion Sanders at Colorado, finishing the 2024 season with 1,258 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on 96 receptions while adding 35 tackles, 11 pass deflections, four interceptions, and a forced fumble.

8:20 p.m.

The Jacksonville Jaguars shipped the No. 5 overall pick, 36th pick, 126th pick, and a 2026 first-rounder to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the 2025 No. 2 overall pick, a fourth-rounder, and a sixth-round selection.

The Tennessee Titans have selected quarterback Cam Ward from the University of Miami.

Miami QB Cam Ward is expected to be the first pick to the Tennessee Titans.

Deion Sanders says his sons are "built for" draft scrutiny.

Coach Prime is not stressing over his sons’ draft odysseys, even as highly touted quarterback Shedeur navigates heavy doses of negativity and safety Shilo is projected to go undrafted altogether.

“You’ve got to understand, when that last name is on your back, you’re going to be attacked and ridiculed by naysayers,” Sanders said.

But, he said, his sons “are built for this.”

6:50 p.m.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe seems at ease as he awaits his fate in the draft amid varying outside opinions on when he might get taken.

Milroe said whatever team takes him, he will know that’s what God had in store for him.

Competition was fierce again this year among companies hoping to outfit prospects in their suits.

Baynes + Baker co-founder Ravi Punn says players sometimes earn six figures to rep a brand, especially in the era of name, image and likeness earnings. He called the NFL draft “the of sports.”

“The suits are seen for a few hours before the draft, during the draft, the next day when outfits are getting graded — and forever online with social media,” Punn said.
